Without this app, you have to read articles on the internet, most of them outdated, and vast majority of them will tell you to use desktop computer with iTunes, which I don't have for some years now. I honestly don't have to like it very much as long as it gets the job done - it's not like I am going to use it for hours every day. The point is - I used the app, I ended up with custom ringtone in 5 minutes. But I also know that Apple heavily restricts this process, and what this app offers is the best it technically can today. You might say, it could've been easier, or the app should add to ringtones directly without Garage Band being man in the middle, I understand.
